ACKMA MAILING LIST

The Australasian Cave and Karst Management Association (ACKMA) Mailing List is run by Rauleigh Webb in Western Australia, with the aim of getting Cave Managers communicating with each other on a regular basis about all matters relating to Cave Management! This list now offers members the ability to digest messages over a set period. For more information on Digesting the ACKMA list send a message to ackma@ackma.org with just "Help" (no quotes) in the subject. This list allows those members with access to the Internet to communicate to all other ACKMA members with internet access.
Rules
The list has the following simple "rules" which members are requested to abide by:-
1. Please do not send cave locations via the mailing list.
2. Please do not publish material distributed via the mailing list without the consent of the original author.
3. Please be courteous.
4. Any person placing defamatory information on the ACKMA will be removed from the list.
5. Please do not forward messages recevied from the ACKMA list without the approval of the originator of the message.

This list is a closed mailing list for ACKMA Members only. If you are a member who is not on the list, but interested in joining the list please Contact List Administrator

If you wish to unsubscribe from the list then just send a message to the list, from the email address that you are subscribed to the list with, with the single word UNSUBSCRIBE in the SUBJECT of the message and you will be removed from the ACKMA mailing list.
Changing email address
Please contact the list administrator and request the removal of your old email address and the addition of your new email address.
To send a submission:
To submit mail to the ACKMA list you have to be a member of the list then you just address mail to:- ackma@ackma.org
Note that when you reply to a message that has come from the ACKMA list it is only sent back to the originator of the message not to the list.
To access the archive (messages previously sent out on the list):
Use the Search command by sending a message to the list (ackma@ackma.org) with the command SEARCH-xx (where xx is the number of days that you would like to search over) and in the body of the message place the text that you would like to search for!! You will receive all messages containing your search text during the number of days that you specified for the search period.
