Princess Margaret Rose Caves
OVERVIEW : The cave is beautiful old stream-passage cave allowing close-up inspections of both towering and delicate decoration. It was re-lit in recent years with tremendous results. Situated in a beautiful bush reserve close to the Glenelg River. The Nelson Endeavour runs regular trips up the river to the caves from Nelson. |

LOCATION : Princess Margaret Rose Cave is located 2 km inside Victoria from South Australian Border, 34kms from Mt.Gambier and 14kms from Nelson. A sealed road links the caves to Mt. Gambier. |
ACCOMMODATION : On Site: Visitor's Centre (tickets, souvenirs, museum display, auditorium), cabins, camping area (unpowered sites only), picnic & BBQ areas, playground, nature walks. Motels & hotels, caravan parks in Mt.Gambier. |
CAVE TOURS : Princess Margaret Rose Cave is open daily (except Christmas Day & Good Friday). Tours run frequently from 10am - 4.30pm. |
